Q What if a piece I want to purchase is out of stock?
A For our Red Label, unless otherwise stated, products will not be restocked. Red Label pieces are made to be unique and one-off. The small nature of the workshop limits our craftsmen and the quantity they can create. Everything is sold in limited edition batches. For our Main Line, many of our shirts are also limited edition, while others will be restocked. Reach out to us if you have a specific piece in mind you'd like to know about.
Q How are the shirts made?
A All of our Red Label shirts are handmade in Toronto from the finest wools, cashmeres, and silks ethically sourced from global producers. Our Main Line shirts are hand-screenprinted in Toronto on Bella + Canvas shirts. While our long-term goal is to make our shirts completely in-house, Bella + Canvas has made strides to significantly reduce energy, waste, and water consumption. Apparel is one of the most polluting industries, so it is ever important for us to move to as sustainable methods of production as possible.
Q What is Gran Manitou's definition of 'handmade'?
A Every step of the production process past material-gathering is done by hand locally in downtown Toronto.
Q What are my payment options?
A We accept the following payment types: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal.
Q Is my personal and credit card information safe on your site?
A Yes. We've taken several steps to ensure all information received from our online visitors is secure from unauthorized access and use. All transactions are completed on a secure server. In secure mode, your computer and our server send data back and forth in an encrypted format.
Q How is shipping calculated?
A Shipping is based on the average cost to ship via regular postage and is calculated by weight. Base rates vary depending on location (Domestic, US, and International).
Q How do I know that my order has been shipped?
A You will receive a shipment notification e-mail once your order has shipped. The e-mail will contain the tracking information as well as a link to track your package online.
Q How long will it take to receive my order?
A Order times vary and are not guaranteed. Times depend on whether a piece is made-to-order, in-stock, and how long it takes to ship (orders are usually fulfilled the same or the following business day of being placed).
Q What is your return/exchange policy?
A We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We will issue a return or exchange for an item within 30 days of receipt if it is in original condition and with tags attached. Refunds for all transactions will be issued to the original form of payment.
Please note, we only process returns and exchanges that were purchased via the online store. Garments purchased at any stockist's store must be returned to the respective store. Due to security constraints, we cannot reimburse you for an amount greater than your purchase amount.
Q Where should I ship my return/exchange to?

Q How should I ship my return/exchange?
A Please only ship your return or exchange in original packaging to ensure safe delivery. In extenuating circumstances please let us know in your request.
Q When will my credit card be refunded?
A You will receive an e-mail once your return has been received & processed. Once your return is processed, please allow up to 2 weeks for your refund to appear on your bank account (depending on your financial institution).
